Meet Chris and Sarah the ultimate dream team. Chris is also known as Gonzo. Chris has been in the automotive community since 2002. Doing car shows and building cars. In 2009 Chris had a dream to start drifting and competing so he bought and built his first drift car which was an S14.

Chris attended his very first Drift Event 10 minutes from Regina at Lumsden 3 Flags Motorsports Park and immediately fell in love with the sport and the community.

He started competitive drifting with Formula Drift, Drift Mania Canadian Championship Series, Spec D, XDC and Midwest Drift Union with Sarah along side as pit crew, traveling as a two-man team. Battling against all odds competing in the bigger American Drift Circuits they managed to qualify at almost every event they attended and placed on the Top 3 podium spots at several events and even Placed 2nd place at his very first DMCC Pro competition in Edmonton.

In 2010 they started the Gonzo Drift Demo which consisted of pro drift demos and stunt shows within Canada and ran their first American Based event at Grange Motor Speedway in 2016 in California.

They are still consistently running the Gonzo Drift Demos every year which continue to grow bigger and better. Each year they constantly raise the bar to the quality and standards of each show.

In 2018, they added the Gonzo Bash as part of the Gonzo Drift Demos which added a full car show aspect to their already action filled Drift Demos!

In 2026 Chris and Sarah decided to launch Gonzo Motor Sports which is the home base for all of their events including their newest event called Modified Automotive Show.

Modified Automotive Show will feature all that they have experienced in the past 24 years of being in the Automotive Industry, Car Shows and Drifting. Creating an indoor car show atmosphere that relives the pinnacle of the car show era in the early 2000’s. Featuring Neon and LED displays to give off that nighttime car meet vibe. With a live DJ and outdoor demos and stunt shows.

They are so excited to launch and bring you the newest extension of Gonzo Motor Sports in the City of Regina where it all started for them back in 2009!
